LEONARD MAURER, nationally known printmaker, graphic artist and painter, will judge the Waterford Foundation’s Red Barn Art Show to be held during the Foundation’s 30th Annual Homes Tour V and Crafts Exhibit on October 5, 6 and 7.
Maurer has had 15 oneman shows, including one last year in Tokyo now being circulated under the auspices of the United States Information Agency in other Japanese cities. He is represented in public collections including the Phillips Gallery, the Corcoran Gallery, the Denver Art Museum, the University of Colorado, the U.S. Department of State, the Watkins Gallery of American University and the University of Delaware.
He works out of his studio on Garfield Street, N.W., Washington.
The prospectus for The Red Barn Show will be in the mail this week to former exhibitors. Mrs. Arthur
Schmidt of Clark’s Gap and Mrs. Philip Ehrenkranz of Taylorstown are co-chairmen of the exhibit. Mrs. Michael Rich and Mrs. William Beaver are co-chairmen of the Junior Show to be held above the Waterford Hardware Store. The Junior Show, for age 5 through 17, will also be judged by Maurer in two divisions.
