VIRGINIA Telephone & Telegraph Company presented an application to the State Corporation Commission on August 15 1973 requesting an “adjustment” in telephone rates throughout its Virginia properties.
The telephone company, which serves more than 175,000 residential and commercial stations in Virginia, said the increase would produce approximately $3.5 million in additional annual revenue.
