It’s not bad enough that we’ve all got to battle the Highwaymen, the speculators, the developers, the quick-buck artists, but we’ve got to get tangled up among ourselves, too. Saving the Piedmont isn’t going to be easy, but it remains an eminently worthwhile objective. □
