Jenny was worried that the trip might yield nothing. “It gets picked over. Just about every day somebody goes looking. Lots of people know this place is good. We’re coming kind of late in the day. It’s better earlier. Brighter sun helps you to see them. This is pretty near the end of the season. If we’d come earlier we might have found a whole lot.
“Best time to look is after it’s rained good and hard and the sun comes out real bright,” she said.
