Flint Hill Rescue Squad was called April 17 to the home of Kinsey Atkins at Sperryville. Services were not needed. April 23 Peter Havstadt of Sperryville was taken from the property of Mary Cleverley in Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital.
Flint Hill Fire Company attended a woods fire on Route 622 April 17 and a fire April 18th on Rt. 729, Battle Mountain.
Castleton Fire Company reported to the fire on Battle Mountain April 18. April 21 they responded to a field fire on the Monroe property. The Rescue Squad took John Deal from home in Castleton to the University of Virginia Hos - pital April 23.□
