There’s been a lot of enthusiasm over spring sports at RCHS.
Our girls track team took over Elkton’s team last Thursday with a 66-30 score. There were many outstanding performances and Maureen Day was high scorer with 18 points. Two new school records were set; Mary Hudson in the 440 with a time of 1:10 and Faye Dunn in the 220 whose time was 29.1.
The baseball team is working out with the new pitching machine recently secured. Thanks to all who supported the financing project. The RCHS team standing at present is 2-1 in the district, or second place, and 2-3 overall.
