Steven Alther left Saturday for two weeks duty with the U. S. Army Reserve at Fort Dix, N.J. He was accompanied to National Airport by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, Ann Alther and Mrs. Lillie Corbin.
Mrs. Herman Miller of Culpeper and Mrs. Virginia Lewis were weekend guests of Mrs. Della B. Howard.
Mrs. J.B. Perkins spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Addie Perkins in the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. O’Brien in McLean. Cindy and Douglas Cumins were in Falls Church with their mother, Mrs. Dawson Nail, Mr. Nail and family.

The Rappahannock County Garden Club sponsored a trip April 17 to Washington, D.C. A group of 35 enjoyed visiting the National Arboretum and Dumbarton Oaks Park and Museum. □
