Rappahannock Elementary School students made an excellent showing in the poster and essay contest sponsored by the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District. Denise Wingfield was district winner in the 7-9th grade division and received a $25 Savings Bond. Tony Armentrout, center, was second in essay and received $10 while Linda Thornhill was third and was given a $5 prize.
