THE EXECUTIVE Committee of the Rappahannock County Recreation Center Association met Friday, April 25, to hear a report by President T. Granville Eastham of progress to date on the Rec Center.

Eastham stated that a local firm has been engaged to draw plans and specifications for an outdoor pavillion with sanitary facilities and a storage room to be constructed on the Rec Center site on U.S. 211 near Washington, Va. Bids for construction of the pavillion and a septic drainfield will be advertised in May. Bids for constructing a play court and horseshoe pits will be advertised in June.
