In the Soil and Water Conservation District poster contest Lavonne Adkins was district winner in the 4-6th grade division. She was given a $25 Savings Bond while Tammy Armentrout received $10 for a second place and Pam Woodward got $5 for third. The Youth Conservation Contest is sponsored annually and Rappahannock students have been consistent winners. Orange, Madison and Culpeper are with Rappahannock in the district.
