SPRING MEETING
The 1975 spring meeting of the Blue Ridge Mountain Estates Civic and Development Corporation will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, in the Chester Gap fire hall. Dinner will be served following the meeting by the ladies in charge. □
Nelson retires
Lewis C. Nelson, formerly of Rappahannock County, was honored at a retirement reception in the executive dining room of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Washington, D.C., April 23, after 35 years of government service. He was presented an electric I.B.M. typewriter in addition to , many other gifts.
Since retirement, Nelson has confirmed reservations for a Western Tour in the Summer with the State Department and U.S.I.A. Recreation Association which will include San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas.□
