The Executive Committee voted to establish a “Thousand Dollar Club” permitting donors of $1,000 or more to dedicate a piece of equipment or erect a plaque in their name on the Rec Center grounds. There are already two such donors, and a third large donation is expected from a county service club shortly. □

The Amissville United Methodist Church will feature a “Spring Thing” at the church on Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m. This will consist of different groups and choirs.
