All women, those who work away from home, new residents, and anyone interested will be able to learn firsthand what is being done in their community through the Extension Service. It will be a good time to visit your neighbors, too.
Robbery
arrests made
Three young men have been apprehended for a robbery which occurred April 19 on Route 729 near Ben Venue. James Clark Nicholson of Etlan and two juveniles have been charged with the robbery of $10.04 from two Amissville youths, James and Samuel McGuinn.
One of the juveniles was also cited for damaging state property after shooting a highway sign. Nicholson was also charged with possession of stolen property from a recent breaking and entering which occurred near Sperryville. Nicholson’s 1967 Chevrolet truck was also confiscated.
Troopers W.A. Buntin, J.A. Watson and R.A. Baines investigated the incidents and made the arrests.
