THE SPRING MEETING of District VIII of the Virginia Extension Homemakers Council is scheduled for May 8 with Culpeper County as hosts. The meeting will be held at the Culpeper Baptist Church. Coffee and cake will be served during registration at 9:30 a.m. The meeting convenes at 10 with Capt. John S. Kerns speaking on the theme “Our Heritage.”
State President, Mrs. T.E. Cummings will speak on her recent trip to Australia and District officers will be installed. Those attending are advised to take a bag lunch and the host club will provide a complimentary gelatin salad and beverage.
