MOODY asked his four star pupils to demonstrate their jumping skills. Vivian Marsh’s horse ran out a couple of times. “Let me have him. I’ll take him over first,” Moody said, as she climbed down. Moody jumped on, circled and headed at a canter into the fence. The horse went forward, Moody went over, the horse jerked back, and Moody, who’d landed on his feet, hopped back over the jump.and caught up with the horse. Moody had never lost the reins, but the bit had left the horse’s mouth.
