Holmes

A funeral service for William Tannyhill Holmes of Baltimore, Md. was held Sunday at Amissville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Joseph Stirman. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Holmes, 41, a native of Amissville, died April 25, 1975 in Baltimore, due to drowning.

His father was the late Eddie Mason Holmes of Amissville. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Wines Holmes of Norfolk; a daughter, Miss Sharon Holmes of Manassas; a brother, Eddie Mason Holmes, Jr. of Baltimore; and three sisters, Mrs. Roberta Pearson of Norfolk, Mrs. Ethel Lee Hoehn and Mrs. Lucille Schroeder, both of Baltimore. □
