RAPPAHANNOCK’S Supervisors have recommended a tax rate of $3.90 per $100 of assessed value to fund the 1975-76 county budget. The proposed tax rate was lowered from the current $4.10 per $100 because the assesed value of county real estate has increased from $7,926,170 to$10,035,000, confronting most county landowners with a major tax increase, if the rate stays the same, chairman Pete Luke said.
