STUDENTS 18 and over getting monthly social security payments will soon get an attendance report card that should be filled out and returned to social security as soon as possible, according to Philip E. Bettendorf, social security district manager in Winchester.
“The cards are mailed about three months before the end of the school year to students getting social security'checks,’’ Bettendorf said. “The information on the attendance report helps us decide if the students can continue to get monthly payments. Delay in returning the report card can mean a delay in future payments.”
