THIS YEAR as an educational service, the Rappahannock County Extension Office will sponsor two 4-H Camp Programs. The first will be Day Camp. This is the second year for the Day Camp Program. Last year’s was a tremendous success. We are hoping for a bigger and better one this year.
Day Camp will be held the week of June 23-27, at Camp Hazel River near Boston. Children will need to bring a bag lunch each day. Cold drinks and cookies will be provided to go with their lunch. A fee of $2 for the week will be charged to cover supplies and insurance. This Camp has been planned for children between the ages of 8 and 12. Reservations for Day Camp must be made to the Rappahannock County Extension Office by May 30.
The Residence Camp Program at Powell’s Fort Camp in the George Washington National Forest will be the week of July 711. This camp costs $22. This fee includes: cabin fee, all meals, supplies and insurance for the week. This Camp has been plan
