Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jamison of Oxon Hill, Md. were Thursday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Fox.

The Rev. and Mrs. Roy Mathena returned Thursday from a ten-day trip to San Diego, Calif, where they were the guests of her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Patrick. They participated in the golden wedding anniversary celebration of the Patricks and a family reunion.

Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen had as Sunday dinner guests their daughters, Mrs. Ruby Reid and children of Culpeper, and Mrs. Gratie Williams and Kelly Jo.

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sealock of Fairfax were Friday overnight guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock.

Mrs. Robert Lee Williams, Patty and Jimmy and Mrs. Thomas Leake were in Winchester Monday on business.

What apparently was meant for only a practical joke in school resulted in a painful injury (fractured coccyx) to a student when a thoughtless classmate jerked a chair out from under her. Still undergoing treatment and still limited in her activities is 14-year old Rhonda Williams who suffered the accident. Rhonda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Williams of our community.

Mrs. Hubert S. Gilkey, Jr., and her guests, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Franz of Orange, Cal., visited relatives in Washington, D.C. Monday and Tuesday and in Harrisburg, Pa. Friday. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Franz resumed their travels across the country.
