A workshop
for parents
LORD Fairfax Community College will hold a workshop on “Getting Along With Your Children” on Thursday evening, May 13, between the hours of 7 and 11 p.m. The workshop is designed “to inform the participant of practical ways to deal with temper tantrums, constant arguing and rebelling, apathy, and other frustrations.”
Dr. Howard Bean, who holds a Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University, will conduct the workshop. The cost of the workshop is $15. Registration is accomplished on a first-come, first-served basis. No one is officially registered until he has paid the fee and submitted an official registration form to the College. Workshop size will be limited to 30 students. Advance Registration is Recommended.
