Raye Marion Rector of Flint Hill has been named a Longwood Scholar, one of eight incoming freshmen for the 1976-77 year at Longwood College chosen for this high academic honor. The Scholars program, initiated in 1974, provides exceptional students opportunities for advanced study, independent research, and other creative activities on the undergraduate level.
