This year the American Red Cross Fund Campaign in Rappahannock County exceeded $1,000 for the first time. The total collected to date is $J,159.27.
A sum of $804.19 was collected from the door to door solicitation by the following members: Mrs. Lillian Aylor, Washington; Mrs. Rachael Aylor, Sperryville; Mrs. Mary Curtis, Flint Hill; Mrs. Mary Lee Frye, Huntly; Mrs. Mabelle Gilkey, Chester Gap; Mrs. Bessie Grigsby, Washington; Mrs. Roberta Jackson, Woodville.
The balance of $355.08 was raised by the response to the letters sent from the Chapter to residents in Rappahannock County.
