ALUMNI DANCE
The George Washington Carver Alumni Reunion Bicentennial dance will be held Saturday, May 29 at the Fauquier County Armory in Warrenton from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. For tickets, contact Marie Davis or Mrs. Ethel Bailey at 675-3602. Music will be by the Brookland Hi-Lites Band.

The film “Come Day, Go Day, God Send Sunday” will be shown at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., Sunday, May 30, at the Sperryville fire hall. Donations of $1 for adults and 50 cents for children under 12 will be collected for the benefit of Hopewell Baptist Church and < the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
“Come Day, Go Day, God Send Sunday” was filmed in Rappahannock County in the summer of 1972. It was produced and directed by Sidney Platt; narration is by C.C. Lewis; writing and consulting by Dr. Charles L. Perdue, Jr., and Nancy M. Perdue.
The film is a 52-minute, color and sound, documentary featuring Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville; Shiloh Baptist Church, Woodville; and the people of Rappahannock County. □
