A Boy Scout Skill-O-Ree was held over the weekend near Luray and among the boys from this county participating were Troop 36 of Flint Hill, including Charles Sutphin, Doug Nichols, Ritchie Burke, Sammy Foreback and Jimmy Brady. These boys are practicing the bowline knot in preparation for that event in the Shenrapawa District Campocee competition. Other local troops taking part in the camporee were Amissville Troop 50, Washington 123 and Sperryville 65.
