MRS. DOROTHY DAVIS has been selected as an alternate delegate to the national Democratic convention which will be held in New York in July. This transpired when she attended the district convention this past weekend in Charlottesville.
Also attending the district convention were Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Keyser and Mrs. Pauline Bruce of Washington, Mrs. Pearl Clarke of Amissville and Vernon Scott of Castleton.
Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Bruce, Mrs. Clarke and Mr. Scott will be in Norfolk this weekend for the state convention. □
