Wrecks reported
Two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon on Route 211 west of Amissville and two of the occupants sustained injuries. Cynthia Ruth Clarke of Washington sustained lacerations of the face and neck and left leg, three broken fingers, a fractured left shoulder, cracked pelvis and dislocated left foot in die wreck. She was the operator of a 1972 Mercury Capri which was traveling west on the highway.
Timothy Dellinger, 13, received a torn lip and was treated at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton and released. He was a passenger in a 1973 Chrysler driven by James Andrew Dellinger of Falls Church.
According to Trooper C. A. Moore, investigation of the collision continues and charges are pending.
Trooper Moore also investigated . an accident Sunday at Huntly when Don Francis Simon Pietri of Front Royal operating a 67 Ford truck struck and killed a deer on Route 522. The vehicle was slightly damaged and no injuries resulted. □
