RAPPAHANNOCK CHORUS
Rappahannock County is going to have a 100-voice chorus on the Fourth of July. Pointing toward the Bicentennial celebration and carnival at Washington, Rappahannock singers are gathering at the Episcopal parish hall each Tuesday evening in June at 7;30 to rehearse old national favorites.
More than a hundred turned out for caroling at Christmas last year and this group is forming the nucleus of the chorus. All school and church choirs, choruses, and individuals interested in singing America’s birthday greetings are urged to come and enjoy themselves. □
