When any claim considered unjust or improper by the Commonwealth’s Attorney is allowed by the Board, then the attorney is authorized to appeal the Board’s decision to the circuit court.

Davis’s notice concludes by stating that his office “will assist the Board of Supervisors with respect to auditing the sheriff’s accounts and will cooperate with the Sheriff with respect to proper filing of his mileage claims.”
