in craft show
Peter Kramer, furniture maker rom Washington, Va. has been selected as one of the nation’s top 400 craftsmen who will participate in the Winter Market, to be held at the Civic Center, Baltimore, Md. on February 19 and 20.
The juried show, sponsored by the Northeast Craft Fair service arm of the prestigious American Craft Council, is expected to furnish new direction for both the craft world and the organization whose membership now tops 37,000.
The event, planned early in the year so that buyers, interior designers and architects can view, buy and commission the work of those represented, will highlight the most extensive collection of fine American crafts to date. Kramer won first prize at the 1976 Virginia Crafts Council Show in Charlottesville.□
