Recently, local welfare departments in Orange, Culpeper, Rappahannock and Madison counties have received small amounts of funds for emergency fuel grants. Grants of up to $50 may be made on a one-time basis to persons in emergency circumstances. The money will be paid directly to the fuel supplier. If older persons need fuel assistance, they should contact their local welfare or social services department. □
