The District Nine Planning District Nutrition Services sponsored its first dinner meeting for elderly citizens in Rappahannock last Thursday. The dinner meeting was held at Hampton Inn, Washington and was attended by Shout fifty people who are over 60 years of age. Bimonthly meetings are planned and anyone 60 or over is eligible to attend. This is an opportunity for senior citizens to meet and visit with others and in the future programs of interest to them will be planned. The meetings are from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
