“We’ve got to get information from the zoning administrator. We don’t know what he’s got,” agreed Barksdale. “We’ve got to get information from the owner.”
Bob Dennis suggested that the Commissioners make some sort of formal response to the application to let Good know what was lacking.
Miller disagreed. “It’s not our responsibility to do that. ” The rest of the Planners apparently agreed with Miller and no formal motion was made. Instead, the members decided to take no action, send the plat back to McNear, and attempt to have the owner, zoning administrator and resident highway engineer present when the matter comes up again.
Masterson suggested later that the Planners acquire a map showing all the undeveloped subdivisions. “We need to see what we’ve got before we go ahead approving more,” he maintained.
