Henry B. Lillard of Rapidan was honored on his 80th birthday Sunday, February 13, with a party given at his home by his daughters, Mr. Paul Poling of Amissville and Mrs. William Crossman of Rapidan. Fifty friends and relatives joined him to wish him happy returns of the day. Mr. Lillard, known as “Hank” to friends, does Ins own housekeeping since the death of his wife in 1975. He enjoys fishing, gardening and puttering in his workshop. He is an accomplished wood carver. He is a native of Rappahannock and has many friends and relatives here.
