THIS year, a broad variety of pairs has been invited to enter the Pairs Race which will open the Rappahannock Point-to-Point program at 11:15 a.m. March 5, on J.W. Fletcher’s Thornton Hill Farm, south of Sperryville on Route 522.
“We hope to keep the old-fashioned Virginia flavor of neighborly point-to-points,” said Witold Kuncewicz, Rappahannock Race Chairman, “by making this pairs race a proper family affair for real foxhunters.”
Pairs may be made up from one hunt or different hunts. Pairs may race against the clock, (not against optimum time,) for first, second, third place trophies; pairs may compete to win prizes for youngest pair, for most senior
