Time to stop simmering and bring things to a full boil.
For the past few weeks now this dispute’s been simmering between two officers of the law in our county. The very beginning of this whole thing seems forgotten (the case of the missing bull). Now it has turned in to a personal vendetta, beginning with the discontinuing services of a secretary, a trip to Richmond which solved only the problem of a secretary working for whom.
If a Sheriff has been elected by the people to enforce the laws of' a county be it policing^ patroling or whatever, he should be allowedto do his job, having the trust and faith of the people behind him.
Get back on the subject that was in question, the missing bull, and stop using gas, the printing press and whatever unwisely.
