And Old Lace
The Rappahannock County High School will present the play “Arsenic and Old Lace” for the community's enjoyment on Friday and Saturday, March 17th and March 18th at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The doors will open at 7:30.
The play centers around the escapades of two elderly ladies residing in a Brooklyn apartment around 1941, and their association with' their gentlemen callers who range from a slightly nutty plastic surgeon to a hopelessly lost soul who believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt.
Tickets are on sale now at the high school and advanced tickets are available for $1.50, while all tickets at the door will be $2.00. Proceeds will go towards the purchasing of lighting equipment for future school plays.
The entire community is invited to come and spend an evening with the cast as they drift back in time and supply their suitors with a bit of Arsenic and Old Lace.
