somewhat brighter tor this year’s feeder calf and yearling prices. At local auction markets good and choice 300-500 lb. feeder steers reached up into the 5054 cent range. And good and choice 500 to 750 lbs. range sold in the mid to upper forties. This represents a price improvement of 7-9 cents a pound over the same time last year. Heifer prices have increased accordingly and for equal grade and weight are running about a dime under steer prices.

There will be a program featuring the St. Louis Harmonizers from Middleburg at Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville on Saturday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. for the benefit of the choir.
