the maiden hurdle race are Col. Sam Richards’ Concisely, who ran third at Casanova, Jeremy Church’s Horst, Mrs. Ellis Parker Ill’s Fildor II, Mrs. Robert V. Gark Jr.’s Running Comment and C. H. Robinson’s Royal Barb. The Dell Cup, owner-rider timber race in the Seven Corners series, has among the entries Gus Forbush’s Chandler and David Semmes' At the Spa, who finished second and third respectively in this competition at Casanova. Harry Wight has entered his Marine Band, and Charles Fleischmann will ride Quail Hollow. Other regulars who are expected to enter are Randy Rouse and William “Mike” duPont.
Winding up the day’s sport are the open hurdle race and the flat race. Some of the entries in the last race are Thomas Moffett's Bel Esprit II, Maria Sayan’s Amberson Place, Fred Allen’s Lovable Fizz, and William Jack Jr.’s New World.
