Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Settle Fincham, of Washington, Va., were conducted Saturday at the Washington United Methodist Church by the Rev. Vickie Pittard. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Fincham died Wednesday, March 8, 1978, at her home. She was 70.

A native of Rappahannock County, she was a daughter of the late Middleton and Martha Ann Horton Settle. She was a member of Washington United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Hampton Inn.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Edwin Scroggins of Washington; a brother. Walter Settle of Front Royal; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Edwin Scroggins Jr., John Moulis, Ronnie Hawkins, Martin Orfila, W. A. Buntin, Ernest Lillard, Carroll Settle and Gibson Whorton.
