Everything is ready for Warrenton Hunt’s point-topoint races Saturday, at the Virginia Gold Cup course. Post time for the first of seven races is 1:30 p.m.
"We re all set to go,” said co-chairman Ernie Oare. "Entries are pouring in at a record-breaking rate and we ll be the first to have decent going. However, there will be no schooling permitted.”
Warrenton, normally the fifth point-to-point of ten in Virginia, is the second to be run this year because of bad weather. Fairfax, Rappahannock, and Blue Ridge Hunts all have rescheduled for later dates.
