Settle
Celia Elizabeth Settle of Culpeper died March 6, 1978 in Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, following a prolonged illness. She was 76.
Services were held last Thursday in the Geest Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John L. Miller Jr. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Settle was the daughter of the late Henry Samuel Blackwell and the late Lacy Williams Barron of Rappahannock County.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John G. Chambers of Annandale and Mrs. James F. Bailey of Rixeyville; a son, L. Robert Settle Jr., of Culpeper; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Estes of Castleton, Mrs. Edward Putman of Arlington and Mrs. W. Roy Mills of Rixeyville; and two brothers, William Blackwell of West Chester, Pa., and John Blackwell of Wheaton, Md.
