Two Wakefield students, Stacy Skowronski and Richard Dierig, have been selected in a special vote of students and faculty to lead the school's annual Christmas procession. This honor, conferred annually on deserving students, is based on scholarship, citizenship, and general excellence of character.
Stacy, an eleventh grader, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Skowronski of Washington, Va. Born in Teheran. Iran, where her father was employed as an engineering consultant by the Shah, Stacy has attended several schools before coming to Wakefield where she is active in ballet, chess, soccer, field hockey and art. She is a First Honors student, ranking first in her class academically.
