Bowling
Charles Edward Bowling, 76, of Flint Hill died Nov. 16, 1978 at Rutherford Rest Home, Front Royal.
A funeral service was held Nov. 18 at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, conducted by the Rev. Vicki Pittard. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.
Mr. Bowling was born Nov. 14. 1902 at Flint Hill, son of the late George William and Mattie Birch Clark Bowling. He was predeceased by his wife, Estelle Virginia Keyser Bowling. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one brother, Frank Bowling of Washington, D. C.; and one granddaughter, Karen Bowling of Front Royal, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Douglas Keyser, James Bowling, Warren Keyser, William C. Keyser Jr., Ray Keyser and Jay Keyser.
