Collision
Roy Dalton of Front Royal was cited by Trooper S. W. Weatherholtz with reckless driving in a three vehicle collision west of Amissville on Thursday.
Dalton was driving a 1972 Ford Pinto westbound on Route 211, according to the officer, when he passed an uninvolved vehicle.
The Dalton car collided with an eastbound 1972 Ford pickup operated by Elmer Jackson Clark of Washington, Va., said Weatherholtz, and a third vehicle, a 1972 Chevrolet pickup, struck both of the others. Operator of the Chevrolet pickup was James Carlos Rose of Bealeton.
The Dalton and Clark vehicles were a total loss, according to Trooper Weatherholtz, and damage to the third one was $500, he estimated. I ~
