The Rappahannock Chorus will present its annual Christmas Concert at the Washington Baptist Church on Sunday, December 17, at 8:15 p.m.
A unique feature of the concert will be the Cantata “Wondrous Love.” In this choral drama of the nativity, Appalachian mountain carols are woven into the story narrated by Donald Bomberger.
Rich in early American lore and faith, the performance is both inspirational and enjoyable.
The Chorus will also present a number of shorter selections as well, each chosen for its special effect or message. Spanning the centuries from the classical to the modem, these pieces will delight and inspire the audience.
