Thursday was student appreciation day. Students were given paper pins, saying "Outstanding Students.” The pins were given by the teachers, showing their appreciation for the students.

Friday was teacher's appreciation day. so students were supposed to dress up to show the teachers how much they are appreciated.

The seniors held a lift-athon to raise money for their senior trip. They went around getting pledges from students and teachers for about one cent a pound and they lifted weights for the pledges. The event took place Friday during school.

If you pledged any money, please have it in by Wednesday.

The track members are having a jog-a-thon to raise money for the track. The joga-thon will be held down on The Shade road, with five miles being the limit. However, you may jog less. Track members will be jogging and they will get pledges for each mile they jog. We hope to have lots of support at the jog-a-thon for the R.C.H.S. track.

A hangnail is not so called because it hangs. It just hurts. “Ang" in Old English meant pain.
