Winning Team
Jay Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Newbill Miller of Washington, is a member of the beef cattle judging team from Virginia Polytechnic Institute which won the national championship in that event at the International Livestock St^ow held recently in Louisville, Kentucky. The five-man team also placed fourth in the nation in judging all classes of meat production, including hogs, sheep and cattle.
Miller, a graduate of Rappahannock County High School, is a junior at VP1 majoring in animal sciences.
