Mrs. Darlene Compton of Castleton was matron of honor for her sister. Her long gown was a yellow floral print with matching cape. She carried a bouquet of yellow, orange and white cushion pompons with green streamers.

Mr. Settle was best man for his son.

The bride’s mother chose a yellow slipper length gown with white lace accenting the sleeves, neckline and waist. The mother of the bridegroom wore a blue floor length jacket ensemble.

A reception followed at the home of the bridegroom's parents where a tiered wedding cake and other refreshments were served.

Mr. and Mrs. Settle are making their home in Millington, Tenn., where Mr. Settle is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps.
