a supportive role in a monumental community volunteer effort to help build the Madison County Center for Environmental Education.
It provided technical assistance during development of the project and helped with teacher in-service training for its use.
In other activities, the Culpeper District has conducted educational programs, sponsored outdoor activities, provided speakers, donated financial assistance and distributed conservation education material to schools, youth organizations and other community groups. The District also presents annual awards to citizens for achievements in conservation.
